A Disciple's Journal – Year B

I would like to have a church wide emphasis and study based on “A Disciple’s Journal” Year A
However, I can only locate about 20 tear A and they are out of sync with the 2010 – 2011 calender year. Do you have any help or suggestions?

I’m very pleased you want to use “A Disciple’s Journal-Year A” for a year-long study in your church. I also understand the difficulty you are having with finding copies. The copies you have were published in 2007. It is specific for that “Year A” (2007-2008) of the RCL. This is why you are finding the dates to be out of sync with the coming “Year A” (2010-2011).
Unfortunately, Cokesbury does not understand that the “A Disciple’s Journal-Year A” they continue to sell are dated material. They are also out of print. Equally unfortunate, and frustrating for me and those who value “A Disciple’s Journal”, there are no plans currently to publish a new book for Year A, or any future years. I have submitted proposals to other publishers, all of them have declined. I’m waiting to hear from another publisher. If no one wants to publish the book, then I’ll either self publish or make the material available free online via the gbod.org web site.
One alternative you might consider is to get a copy of the RCL Daily Lectionary and create your own version of “A Disciple’s Journal.” You can use the Wesley texts contained in the “A Disciple’s Journal – Year A” you have. You can get a copy of the RCL Daily Readings here: http://2su.de/dPn.
